Instructional Coach Dual Stopwatch
Finally, a stopwatch to keeps track of two people or groups. This stopwatch is specifically designed for Instructional Coaches to use when helping teachers identify and quantify areas of need in their instruction.
I came up with the idea for this while observing another coach working with a team of teachers. My role in this situation was to time the coach to see if she was talking more or less than the teachers she helping. I spent so much time clicking between two stopwatches to activate them and turn them on/off that I never really got to learn from watching the coaching session. So, I went and made this stopwatch. The main stopwatch keeps track of the entire session time. Below, the "Event" stopwatches keep track of two separate, alternating stopwatches. |

App Design & Prototyping
The App Design Journal and this guide can be used with learners of all ages and ability levels and adapted as needed. For instance, an elementary teacher may use these resources as a way to grow interest in computer science and to connect student to community leaders through a showcase. A secondary computer science teacher may have learners complete this process early in the class to provide motivation for learning more advanced coding concepts. In this example and after a prototype is built, learners may work on their app in Xcode throughout the course adding UI elements and functional code as these concepts are researched and learned.

3D Printing with a Purpose
This book covers a project done in my class utilizing our 3D printers. We wanted to do more than just print game pieces or keychains. My students worked with other teachers in the district to solve classroom problems using 3D printing. The students were completely responsible for the project, including coming up with rubrics and deadlines. They wrote this book as a final communication piece to share with other teachers. All of their work has been open-sourced and shared online. We all hope you will be able to use this book as a guide to offer your school the same benefits by doing 3D Printing with a Purpose.

"Indy" Car Racer
A great first day team project for pre-college engineering classes and camps. This is a very simple project we do on the first day of class with our 9th grade learners. The project is quick, easy, hands-on, and offers a quick overview of what engineering is about. This project has been used in camps with elementary to middle school students as well in high school engineering classes.
